Organoleptic properties

• Appearance: Clear, runny liquid. May be slightly cloudy.

• Colour: Pale yellow to yellow.

• Odour: Botanical, floral and fresh.

Storage

Essential oils are sensitive to UV radiation, and their volatile components can gradually evaporate. It is, therefore, vital to store your essential oils in a sealed coloured glass or aluminium bottle between 5°C and 40°C.

Precautions

• Do not use on pregnant or breastfeeding women or children under 6 years of age.

• For internal use in limited doses and for short periods of time, on the advice of a therapist.

• Avoid contact with the eyes and mucous membranes.

• Keep out of reach of children.

• Always dilute for skin application.

• Certain natural compounds contained in this essential oil may present a risk of allergy in some sensitive individuals when the essential oil is incorporated into a cosmetic composition.

• Avoid old or oxidized essential oils. Store away from light and air.

• As a general rule, always test your preparation on the inside of your elbow at least 48 hours before use.

• For use as a cosmetic ingredient, please refer to the specific precautions.

Danger. Causes skin irritation. May cause skin allergy. Causes serious eye irritation. May be fatal if swallowed and enters airways. Harmful to aquatic life with long lasting effects. Keep out of reach of children. Wear protective gloves and eye protection.

IF ON SKIN: Wash with plenty of soap and water. If skin irritation or rash occurs: Get medical advice/attention.

IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. If eye irritation persists: Get medical advice/attention.

IF SWALLOWED: Immediately call a POISON CONTROL CENTER or doctor. DO NOT induce vomiting. Dispose of contents/container at a waste collection center in accordance with local regulations.
