Slow cold pressing for a quality oil

The fruit used to make this oil comes from almond trees grown organically in open fields in Sicily, a land renowned for producing the best almonds.

The fruit is rigorously selected, particularly in terms of variety and quality for oil that is high in active ingredients. Mechanically harvested, the almonds are kept in shell throughout the season to preserve their freshness. They are shelled, peeled or toasted as required. These almonds are partially degreased by slow , cold pressing. This means that the best parts of the fruit can be recovered, especially the nutrients and minerals, resulting in a virgin organic oil with unique organoleptic qualities and exceptional purity. For 1 kg of oil, you need around 2 kg of shelled almonds. Hundreds of years of know-how and a lasting partnership

The oil producer works directly with cooperatives of producers and farmers, most of whom are family-run businesses handed down from generation to generation using traditional know-how.

It's not uncommon to find hundred-year-old trees on producers' farms, proof of the quality of their work. The supplier meets the growers and visits their fields.
