Fatty acid composition:

• Polyunsaturated essential fatty acids (PUFA or EFA): linoleic acid (omega-6) (28 to 35%)

• Monounsaturated fatty acids (MUFA): oleic acid (omega-9) (38 to 50%)

• Saturated fatty acids (SFA): stearic acid (2 to 14%), palmitic acid (10 to 15%)

Other active compounds:

• Phenolic compounds (ferulic acid, syringic acid)

• Tocopherols (vitamin E)

• Carotenoids
