The avocado is the fruit of theavocado tree (Persea americana), a member of the Lauraceae family native toNorth America (Mexico).
Numerous writings mention the plant's use by the Aztecs, who used the flesh of the fruit to protect their skin from the drying winds. They also applied it to their hair to encourage growth and made ointments to delay the onset of old age.
Avocado carrier oil has a lovely, unusual green colour and a subtle, sweet fragrance. It is very thick, penetrating the epidermis, leaving behind a protective film.
Rich in oleic acid, carotenoids and nutrients, avocado carrier oil is extracted from the pulp of the fruit (the flesh we usually eat) because, paradoxically, the stone contains very little fat (just 2%).
Its high content of oleic and palmitoleic acids and active ingredients makes it ideal for softening and regenerating your face and body. In hair care, this marvellous oil strengthens the hair and stimulates growth.
Organoleptic properties
Appearance: thick oily liquid, sometimes cloudy, which may naturally have a pulpy texture and contain plant deposits. This botanical oil may also partially solidify when exposed to cold, due to its fatty acid composition.

From a beautiful mountainous region of Kenya
Our avocado carrier oil comes from a producer based in Kenya. The quality of our Aroma-Zone oil comes first and foremost from the fruit used.
In a beautiful mountainous region of central Kenya, amid a an incredible variety of plants and wildlife, small farmers cultivate fertile land. Thanks to the biodiversity of these organic crops, the rapid spread of disease is prevented. Trees are also planted regularly to prevent erosion on the steep slopes in this region, which is not suitable for intensive farming. This is where the avocados used to make Aroma-Zone avocado carrier oil grow.
An exclusive cold-pressed production process
The producer we work with has developed an exclusive process based on cold-pressing the fresh avocado pulp to obtain a carrier oil of incomparable quality which is very high in oleic acid, carotenoids and nutrients.
An oil from a fair trade relationship
In addition, the producer based his project on two major criteria. The first is the adoption of an ethical approach.
This is why thousands of small farmers agreed to sell him the produce from their small farms, including avocados, so that they can grow organic produce and be part of the fair trade circuit. The avocado carrier oil producer therefore provides economic support to families in the region by paying these farmers.
Organic farming and by-product recycling for a sustainable approach
The producer also wanted to adopt an environmental and sustainable development approach, by promoting small-scale organic farming.
To this end, he is committed to helping the farmers comply with the regulatory requirements for organic farming. A project is also underway to set up a biogas plant, using the by-product of oil extraction, in a completely sustainable process.
Mild, softening and regenerating
With its beautiful dark yellow-green colour, this avocado pulp oil has a subtle fragrance and a very fruity, sweet flavour characteristic of avocados.
It is thick so it can be used to create skin care products that leave a protective film behind on the skin and nourish it deep down. Its high content of oleic and palmitoleic acids and active ingredients (tocopherols, carotenoids, phytosterols) make it ideal for softening and regenerating fragile, dry and devitalised skin, as well as being the ideal ingredient for preventing stretch marks. This exceptional oil is also known to stimulate hair growth.

Directions: Open the vitamin E capsules and pour the contents into a 60 ml bottle. Add the oils and shake vigorously. If possible, leave for 4 days to allow the effects of the different substances to amplify through synergy Use: Place 4 to 6 drops in the palm of your hands. Massage in. Use this oil after washing your hands before going to bed.

Moisten the neck with cold water. Pour a few drops of the mixture into the palm of your hand and gently massage the neck, working upwards towards the chin. Repeat until the oil is completely absorbed into the skin.

Use: Melt the butters and beeswax in a bain-marie. Add the cornstarch and carrier oils. Using a wire whisk and whisk the mixture until well blended. Heat gently for a few moments. Allow to cool, then add the essential oils. Whisk again, then transfer to one or more glass jars. Label the jars.
5 ml organic avocado carrier oil (highly penetrating oil, ideal for the eye area).
5 ml aromatic cornflower hydrosol (soothes, decongests and combats puffiness and bags under the eyes)
5 g organic aloe vera gel
9 drops of liquid soy lecithin
4 drops of plant bisabolol
1 drop of helichrysum essential oil (activates blood circulation, anti-haematoma properties, perfect for combating dark circles).

3 drops of grapefruit seed extract
A pinch of aosaine (to stimulate the production of collagen).
Directions:
1- In a bowl, mix the aloe vera gel, carrier oil and hydrosol, in which you have previously dissolved the aosaine.
2- Add the lecithin, bisabol, helichrysum, vitamin E and grapefruit extract and mix thoroughly.
3- Pour the mixture into the roll-on and store in a cool place.

This 2-in-1 recipe moisturises and nourishes hair at the same time. It is suitable for all hair types. Aloe vera gel and honey moisturise, and coconut and avocado carrier oils nourish, strengthen and make hair shiny.
Aloe vera gel: 2 tbsp
Coconut carrier oil: 2 tbsp. tbsp
Avocado carrier oil: 2 tbsp
Honey: 1 tbsp
Directions: In a bowl, blend all the ingredients. Coconut carrier oil is solid at 25°C. If this is the case, simply run the container under a trickle of lukewarm water. Use: Once the mixture is smooth and evenly mixed, apply to dry hair in sections, from roots to ends. Leave in for 3 hours before shampooing.
Hair will feel softer, stronger and shinier from the first use.

I put some on my dry hands before bed, with apricot oil and macadamia oil, and I noticed that my skin is much more supple, soft, and hydrated, especially on the back of my hands, without even needing to apply cream as usual! The only downside is that the smell is a bit strong, but not unpleasant!
