Used for centuries by the Berbers of the Atlas Mountains for its culinary, therapeutic, and cosmetic properties, Argan Oil is derived from the Argan Tree. This ancient tree grows mainly in the arid regions of south-west Morocco.
The fruit of the Argan Tree is roughly the size of a walnut. Beneath its pulp lies a hard-shelled kernel containing one to three almonds, known as arganons. The oil extracted from these arganons is traditionally regarded as beneficial for supporting cardiovascular health.
With more than 75% unsaturated fatty acids, Argan Oil offers powerful repairing and regenerating benefits for the skin. It is rich in vitamin E, sterols, and phenolic compounds. Argan Oil also provides antioxidant protection to help combat the visible signs of premature ageing and loss of firmness. This precious oil is exceptionally nourishing and toning, and is suitable for all skin types, particularly dry skin.

Careful selection of kernels for a quality oil
This Moroccan argan oil offers a quality guarantee because special attention has been paid to the harvesting and selection of the argan kernels, also known as amandons or arganons.
The fruits of the argan are often eaten by goats, which regurgitate the kernels after ingesting them. When these kernels are used to make argan oil, the properties and smell of the oil are greatly altered. One of our quality criteria is to use only whole fruit, which provides an unquestionable guarantee that it has not been ingested by goats.
The fruit is then dried in the sun, and the rind is removed. Women then separate the pulp from the stone. After selecting, drying and pulping the fruit, the women carefully extract the arganons by crushing the kernel, a precise, quick and meticulous process. The arganons are mechanically cold-pressed on site, ensuring that the oil has no contact with water and retains its authenticity and quality. They are a beautiful golden colour and have a pleasant, sweet smell.
Fair trade
Women's cooperatives produce the organic Argan oil we offer in a spirit of fair trade.
From 16 women in 2001, the partnership with Aroma-Zone on argan oil grew to 8 cooperatives in 2015, with a total of 418 women within a radius of 80 to 180km in the mountains of the Taroudannt region. The women earn an income well above the basic wage in Morocco. On-site, these cooperatives sell almost all the oil produced to our industry.
Some argan oils are produced by large companies that buy kernels on the market at low prices, without any concern for the living conditions of the Moroccan women or the quality of the kernels obtained. The Organic Argan Oil we offer you is guaranteed to be high quality, made in the pure Berber tradition, with respect for the women in the cooperatives and their working conditions.
When the families have collected enough to fill a lorry, local coordinators, trained by the association, organise the collection of the bags.
Exceptional regenerative properties
Thanks to its exceptional composition, with 75% unsaturated fatty acids and numerous unsaponifiable active ingredients (sterols, phenolic compounds, Vitamin E and carotenoids), virgin organic argan oil has an extraordinary regenerative and nourishing effect on the skin. It protects dry and delicate skin, dry hair and brittle nails. It also has fabulous anti-ageing and skin toning properties.
Organoleptic properties
Appearance: Oily liquid, slight cloudiness is possible (as it is a cold-pressed virgin oil without treatment). Argan oil can crystallise slightly (appearing slightly cloudy with small solid particles at the bottom) when stored in cold conditions, due to its natural fatty acid composition. This does not affect its quality. Place the bottle in a warm water bath for a few moments to melt the particles.
Colour: Light yellow to yellow
Odour: Typical of virgin argan oil - non-deodorised, non-roasted and rather mild.
Feel: Oily. If you wish to improve its absorption into the skin, mix it with a more penetrating oil (kukui, macadamia, hazelnut, etc.).
Note: Some virgin argan carrier oils (from raw, non-roasted argan nuts) can have an unpleasant, strong, almost faecal odour.
When the argan nuts are not sorted, they can sometimes go mouldy or might have been digested by animals, which gives the pressed oil a pronounced tint and an unpleasant odour. This is why we pay great attention to ensuring that argan nuts are sorted to produce a high-quality oil, both cosmetically and olfactorily.

To preserve your Organic Argan Oil's cosmetic properties, store it in a cool place, away from light and heat.
Close the bottle carefully after each use to prevent oxidation and prolong its shelf life.
As with any natural product, some people may be allergic to argan oil.
Be particularly careful if you are allergic to sesame or peanuts, as there could be cross-allergies.

Directions: Mix all the ingredients together. Massage a small amount into the scalp. Wrap your head in a warm, damp towel and leave on for 20 minutes, then shampoo.
This recipe is perfect for mature skin in need of firming. Matcha tea is an excellent anti-ageing agent, soothing and protecting the skin. Hemp oil is known for firming the skin. Argan oil is nourishing and toning.
Matcha tea: 1 tablespoon
Hemp oil: 1 teaspoon
Argan oil: 1 tsp.
Directions: In a bowl, blend all the ingredients until you obtain a smooth, homogenous paste. Use: Apply this mask all over your face. Leave on for 15 minutes before rinsing.
Immediate firming effect. It's the perfect preparation for combating the signs of skin ageing. Use regularly throughout the year.
90 g organic shea butter
10 ml argan carrier oil
10 ml macadamia carrier oil
10 ml Chilean rosehip seed carrier oil
1 tsp aloe vera gel
10 drops gum rockrose essential oil
10 drops neroli essential oil
7 drops of natural vitamin E
Directions: Crush the butter and carrier oils with a pestle to obtain a smooth, creamy paste. Add the rest of the ingredients, mix well and pour the balm into its jar.
Important notes (Aroma-Zone): it's not easy to make a stable emulsion (cream, lotion) using only a wax. Waxes have a low emulsifying power, so we recommend adding an emulsifier. In addition, we recommend adding a preservative to ensure that this blend is preserved.
Use: Every evening for 1 month, massage a large dab of this creamy balm into the affected areas. Do not use during pregnancy due to the presence of essential oils.

Directions: Macerate the nettles in the oil for ten days in the sun. Filter and add Rosemary essential oil.
Directions: Gently massage this mixture into the scalp and coat your hair. Cover with a warm towel and leave overnight. Shampoo the next day.

Monoi: 50 g
Rose hip carrier oil: 30 ml
Argan carrier oil: 1 tablespoon
Linden infusion or hydrosol: 1 tablespoon
Carrot essential oil: 2 drops
Orange blossom hydrosol
Directions: Melt the shea butter and monoi in a bain-marie. Remove from the heat and stir in the argan and rose hip oils, the carrot essential oil and then the infusion using a blender.
Use: Store the mixture in a jar in a cool place and use within 2 to 3 weeks. Use as a day cream.

3 teaspoons Rose hydrosol
1 teaspoon vegetable glycerine
1 teaspoon honey and royal jelly mixture (10% fresh royal jelly and 90% honey)

How to use: Mix the carrier oils and butter until smooth. Gradually add the hydrosol while emulsifying. Add the vegetable glycerin, then the rest of the ingredients.

Argan oil: 1 tablespoon
Wild carrot Essential Oil: 10 drops
Egyptian Geranium essential oil: 10 drops
Directions: Melt the shea butter in a bain-marie and stir in the carrier oils. Remove from the heat and stir in the essential oils. Pour into jars and store in a cool place.
Use: Skincare cream for use as a day cream.

Directions

2- In another container, heat the lime blossom hydrosol with the MF emulsifier.
3- When the oil phase has melted, gradually pour in the water phase, mixing well until the emulsion forms.
4- Add the 2 essential oils, bisabolol, grapefruit seed extract and vitamin E.
