Natural elastin production begins to decline at the age of 25. This process is gradual and is also accompanied by a decrease in collagen production, two proteins essential for skin firmness and elasticity. It can be accelerated by external factors such as oxidative stress. Peptides are chains of amino acids naturally present in our bodies that contribute to many essential functions. In this formula, copper peptides help stimulate collagen and elastin synthesis. Combined with pro-elastin, a precursor to elastin, they boost the production of these proteins that are essential for youthful skin.

Structure of the dermis: The dermis is one of the three layers of the skin. It consists mainly of an extracellular matrix composed of three major components: collagen, elastin, and hyaluronic acid, which is produced by cells called fibroblasts.
