How to apply the paste?

Step 1

Comb clean, dry hair and divide into two sections, securing the top of the hair.

Step 2

Apply the paste strand by strand, starting at the back of the head. Work it all the way through to the scalp. You can use a piping bag, an applicator bottle, a brush or wear gloves and use your fingers.

Step 3

Continue with the top of the head, applying thick layers strand by strand.

Step 4

Massage to ensure all the hair is well covered and pull the hair together into a bun.

Step 5

Clean around your face and ears, then fold your hair into the wrap. Leave on for 1.5 - 3 hours (*1.5 hours for porous or chemically-dyed hair).

Step 6

Rinse thoroughly. If necessary, apply a conditioner after colouring.

Tips & advice

After applying the paste, fold your hair into the provided hair wrap to keep the heat in and for added comfort. The henna paste should remain moist throughout the application.
To seal the cuticle layer of your hair, add shine and soften your hair, use an acidic water or vinegar rinse.
This plant-based dye can be used on chemically coloured hair, for a maximum of 1.5 hours

If you have blonde hair or more than 30% grey hair, it's best to dye your hair in two stages: start by applying chestnut-brown henna.

Step 1

Depending on the length of your hair, pour the required number of sachets into a bowl.

Step 2

Gradually pour warm tapwater (35-40°C) over the powder, mixing until you obtain a consistent, homogenous paste.

Step 3

Apply the paste to your hair immediately , following the advice below.

Storage

It is recommended to use this product within 24 months after opening.
Store your plant-based dye away from heat and light.

Precautions

Conduct a sensitivity test in your elbow crease at least 48 hours before application.
Always perform a preliminary test on the hair collected from your brush, then wait 48 hours to assess the final result.
Avoid using utensils made of iron or aluminium for preparing your paste (opt for stainless steel or a silicone spatula instead).
Avoid contact with the eyes. In case of contact, rinse thoroughly with water.
Use the product in a well-ventilated area.
Do not apply to eyelashes or eyebrows.
